Larry Thomas Hamilton Sr., age 75, of Calhoun Ga., passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023. He was born on June 19, 1947. He was a veteran and served Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Washington and Mildred Lucille Hamilton; son, Johnathan Hamilton; daughters, Pamela Hamilton, Debrina Hamilton; brothers, Dwight Hamilton, David Hamilton, Michael Hamilton; sister, Janet Ellis. He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Hamilton; sons, Larry Thomas and Melissa Hamilton, Justin and Dora Hamilton, Damien Hamilton; daughter, Debrea and Arthur Thompson; brother, Jerry Hamilton; sisters, Barbara Hill, Darlene Brite; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Larry Thomas Hamilton Sr. will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, May 11, 2023 at The Church of God of Union Assembly in Calhoun, Ga., He will lie in state from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Dalton Funeral Home.
