Laura Burk, age 80, of Dalton, Georgia went home to be with her lord and savior Jesus on Friday, March 24, 2023. She was born October 31, 1942. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Louise "Allen" Dunn. She is survived by her son, Garrett Burk of Alabama, Jeff Burk (Shirley) of Florida; daughters, Judy Stinnett (Thomas) of Dalton, GA, Marie Bailey (Marvin) of Bremen, GA, Mary Grant of Dalton, GA, Victoria Parker (Jimmy) of TX; brothers, John Dunn (Annette) of Chatsworth, GA, Allen Dunn of Chatsworth, GA, Mac Dunn of Chatsworth, GA, Charles Dunn (Sandy) of Chatsworth, GA.; sisters, Molly Bearden of Chatsworth, GA, Sherri Bearden of Chatsworth, GA., Jean Langford of Chatsworth, Ga, Faye Bearden of Chatsworth, GA.; grandchildren, Rebecca, Savannah, Cody, Amanda, Megan, Elijah; Eleven great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home Friday March 31, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Brother Mike Douglas officiating. Interment will be at Fairy Valley Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Dalton Funeral Home.
