Lee Charles Baggett, age 82, of Ellijay, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020. He was born on January 22, 1938. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Baggett; parents, William Berry Baggett and Lela Jane Jenkins Baggett; brothers, James Baggett, Willard Baggett, Tom Baggett, Ed Baggett, Dorse Baggett; sisters, Ruby Arrington, Gladys Blake; and granddaughter, Stasha Faye Baggett. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Baggett of Ellijay; son and daughter-in-law, Dexter and Shelly Baggett of Ellijay; foster son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Brenda Moody of Jasper; daughters and son-in-law, Tammy Baggett of Dalton, Sharon Baggett of Chatsworth, Tina and Joey Walkins of Dalton; brother, Dayton Baggett of Rossville; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 1 grandson on the way. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Lee Charles Baggett will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 2, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Claude Jones officiating. Interment will be at Hall Memorial. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Friday evening at the funeral home.
