Mr. Leon Andrew Hunter, age 80, of Dalton, GA passed away on July 11, 2023. He was born on August 17, 1942. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sharon Diane Hunter; and brothers, Terry Hunter, Jerry Hunter, and Paul Hunter. He is survived by his wife, Billie Sue "Knight" Hunter; son, Cleaston Hunter; brother, Richard Don Hunter; grandchildren, Haley Hunter, Brandon Black, and Travis Black; and daughter-in-law, Ori House. Mr. Leon Hunter was very loved by all his family. He always had so many amazing stories to tell; he never ran out of them. He loved fishing and being outdoors. He could fix about anything he put his mind to, especially cars. He had those "wrench hands"! He loved his coffee, tea, and Dr. Pepper. He loved collecting the most random possessions. You never knew what he was going to surprise you with. You could not ask for a better husband, father, pawpaw, or friend. Leon was all of the above. Also, let's not forget about his delicious orange cake! We all love you and you are missed greatly sweet man. We will forever cherish your memories, friendship, and love for our family. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Leon Andrew Hunter will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at West Hill Cemetery.
