Leonard C. Brown, age 85, of Cohutta, Georgia passed away Monday, March 9, 2020. He was born on January 8, 1935. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Flora Brown; brothers and sister in law, King Brown, Bill and Delores Brown, Sam Brown; and brother in law, Otto Walraven. He is survived by his wife, Shelia Brown of Cohutta; sons and daughters in law, Greg and Connie Brown of Calhoun, Richie and Regina Hardinger of Rock Springs, Eugene C. Lawson of Dalton; daughters and sons in law, Angela and Ron Shawgo of Calhoun, Lenley and Marius Fey of Ooltewah, TN, Stephanie and Said Asadi of Calhoun; brothers and sisters in law, Frank and Odell Brown of Calhoun, Fred Brown of Calhoun, Jim and Ellen Brown of Huntsville, AL, Hoyt and Virginia Brown of Chatsworth; sisters and brother in law, Dorothy Walraven of Calhoun, Sara and Roger Burnley of Calhoun; sister in law, Oma Brown; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Leonard C. Brown will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Oakman Baptist Church (in Oakman, GA) with Bro. Clay Hardin officiating.
