Leonard Grigsby, age 72, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014. He was born on April 11, 1942 in Rome County, Tennessee to the late Leonard Ellis Grigsby and Beatrice Gilreath Grigsby. A long with his parents he is also preceded in death by his sister, Ann Webster. He is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Charles and Angel Grigsby of Dalton, James and Sylvia Grigsby of Tunnel Hill, Tommy and Sherri Grigsby of Dalton, Leonard Eugene JR and Melissa Grigsby of Dalton; daughter, Melissa Grigsby of Dalton; sister, Mary Ruth Newton; the mother of his children and 32 years of marriage, Louise Grigsby; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Leonard Grigsby will be held at 5:00 Pm Monday, December 22, 2014 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 2:00 PM till the hour of service.
