Lila Lee Wilson, age 60, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016. She was born on September 20, 1956. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Annie Brumbelow; a son, David Shane Brumbelow; and a brother, Paul Brumbelow. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Wilson of Dalton; son and daughter in law, James and Jennifer Elrod of South Carolina; daughter, Christina Elrod of Dalton; stepson, Ronnie Wilson of Dalton; brothers and sisters in law, Harold and Edith Brumbelow of Lafayette, John and Barbara Brumbelow of Dalton; sisters and brothers in law, Peggy Young of Dalton, Joann and Jim Kennedy of Dalton, Janie and Loyd Wilson of Dalton; grandchildren, Skyler Carroll and Zoey Carroll. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Lila Lee Wilson will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Colonial Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Tuesday evening.
