Linda Gay Anderson, age 72, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025. She was born April 2, 1952. She was preceded in death by her husband, James McCoy; parents, Sam Weaver and Eva Gay Watkins; daughter, Rhonda Ann Anderson; brother, James Earl McFarland, Leon Weaver; sister, Wanda Sue Fisher. She is survived by her daughter, Eva McCoy; sister, Margaret Ann Fowler; grandchildren, Amanda Patton, Olivia McCall, Samuel McCall, Austin McCall, Skyler Hernandez, Hope York, Christian McCall and five great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ms. Linda Gay Anderson will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 7, 2025 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Brandon Herdon officiating. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Dalton Funeral Home.
