Linda Joyce Jones Fowler age 67 of Dalton, Ga. departed this life Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Hamilton Medical Center. She was the daughter of Wayne Jones and Betty Jo Harmon. She was born on February 2, 1957. She is proceeded in death by both her parents, two sisters, Teresa Ann Glover and Barbara Faye Jenkins. She is also proceeded in death by her five brothers, Bobby Ray Jones, Jerry Wayne Jones, Nikki Lynn Esparaza, Billy and Terry Jones along with her two infant twin sons, Heath Allen and Keith Dewayne Sexton. She is survived by her husband, Robert Fowler of Calhoun; son, Tony Lynn Sexton and wife Stacy of Dalton; grandchildren, Katie Reid (C.J.), Austin Sexton, Ashlynn Sexton all of Dalton; great grandchildren, Adilynn Reid and Christian Reid. Survivors also include her sisters, Janice (Rowdy) Stephens of Chatsworth, Brenda Rhodes and Kay (Mack) Glover of Dalton; brothers, Darrell Wayne Jones of Dalton, David Lee (Gladys) Tackett of Resaca, Leon (Karen) Tackett of Dalton, Ricky Jones and Chris (Ida) Costillo of Texas; many nieces and nephews, great nieces; great-great nieces and nephews; special cousin Gina Walker of Calhoun and special friends, Star Neisler of Calhoun, Jerry Cook of Dalton. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Linda Joyce Jones Fowler will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Brackett Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
