Linda Seay, age 71, of Dalton, Georgia passed away at Quinton Memorial surrounded by her family and friends. Thursday, February 18, 2016. She was born on April 7, 1944. Linda was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Frazier Seay; parents, John and Reba Scott; brother, Chester Scott; and a sister, Shirley Putman. She is survived by her 2nd husband, Jimmy Stinnett; sons and daughter in law, Timothy Seay, Jason and Barbara Stinnett; daughters and sons in law, Caron and Prince Cobb, April and Greg Dill; step children, Pam Hinds, Sandra Roberson, Billy Seay; brothers and sister in law, Bradley and Esther Scott, Uless Scott; sisters, Judy Scott, Jean Lingerfelt; grandchildren, Mathew Cobb, Chassidy Cline, Zachary Cobb, Hannah Sproles, Jackson Stinnett, Eric Seay and Erika Seay; great grandchild, Aaliyah Cobb. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Linda Seay will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Herman officiating. Interment will be at Dunagan Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-9 PM Saturday evening. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hamilton Hospice.
