Linda Elizabeth Sims, age 68, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020. She was born on December 21, 1951. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Sims; parents, LC and Doris Carter; brothers, Sammy Carter, Daniel Carter, Calvin Carter, Louis Carter; and sister, Barbara Gates. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Donnie and Diane Sims of Calhoun; brothers and sisters in law, Bobby and Judy Carter of Tunnel Hill, Kenny and Lisa Carter of Tunnel Hill, JR and Debbie Carter of Rocky Face; sister and brother in law, Karen and Erik Roberson of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Nicole and Tyler Thomas, Bethany Patterson, Hunter Escobar; great grandchildren, Karson Thomas, Kaalyn Thomas, Raelynn Patterson; special niece and nephew, LaGonda Lynch and Brian Owens, Adam Phillips, Renee Brinkley; and several other nieces and nephews; special friends, Carolyn parker and Robin Duvall. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Linda Elizabeth Sims will be held at 3:30 PM Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Dunagan Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Tuesday evening.
