Lloyd W. Carter, age 56, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. He was born on April 28, 1965. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Carter. He is survived by his mother, Cleo "Townsend" Reed of Dalton; brothers, Floyd Lee Carter of Resaca and Billy Paul (Diane) Carter of Calhoun; sister, Tina (Danny) Cochran of Chatsworth; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Lloyd Carter will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 12, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Cochran and Bro. Ray Cochran officiating. Interment will be at United Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Dalton Funeral Home.
