Lois Ann Queen, age 68, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021. She was born on December 11, 1952. Lois loved the Lord faithfully and read her bible daily. She was preceded in death by her father, C.J. Jones. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Joe L. Queen of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Gabriel and Kristy Queen of Dalton; daughter, Julie Queen of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Donnie Foster of Dalton, Gladdis Gremett of Dalton, Ora Lou and Bill Hawkins of Blue Ridge, Kathy Jones of Blue Ridge; grandchildren, Mercedes and Curtis; and 3 great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Lois Ann Queen will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Baker officiating. Interment will be at Dawn of Rest. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Saturday evening.
