Louise W. Howell, age 94, of Cohutta, Georgia passed away Monday, June 22, 2015. She was born October 27, 1920. Louise was a hard worker. She loved to sew and enjoyed gardening and loved her family very much. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Howell; daughter, Billie Jean Johnston; parents, Walter and Lena Whaley; brothers, Rockford Whaley, Herbert Whaley, Clyde Whaley, Willard Whaley; and a grandson, Neal Godfrey. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Ray and Theresa Howell of Dalton; son in law, Bill Johnston of Signal Mountain, TN; grandchildren, Rhonda and Bruce Jennings of Cohutta, Randy and Regina Howell of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Louise W. Howell will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Robinson officiating. She will be laid to rest at United Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM till the hour of service.
