Maggie Lou Dempsey, age 70, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017. She was born on August 9, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Minnie lou Ridley; son, Daniel Dempsey; daughter, Angela Dempsey; brothers, Jim Ridley, Clifford Ridley; sisters, Agnes Hackler, Imogene Ball and Irene Massingill. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Paul and Jennifer Dempsey of Cohutta; daughter, Jane White of Dalton; brothers, Jese Ridley of Chatsworth, Grover Ridley of Rocky Face; sister and brother in law, Frances and Gene Kendrick of Chatsworth; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
