Margaret Ausmus, age 79, of Chatsworth, Georgia departed this life on Friday, December 22, 2017. She was born on August 12, 1938. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Ausmus; parents, Boyd and Ruth Patterson; brother, Junior Patterson, sons, Warren Edward Ausmus and Rodney Kyle Ausmus. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte(Grady) McGill of Chatsworth, GA; son, Richard (Becky) Ausmus of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Carol Miller of Dalton, GA; brothers, Jimmy (Loretta) Patterson and Glenn Patterson of Chatsworth, GA; brother – in-law and sister in-law, Jerome and Wilma Jean Pritchard of Dalton, GA; sister-in-law, Faye Patterson of Dalton, GA; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren as well as several nephews and nieces. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Margaret Ausmus will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at The Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home and the family will also receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
