Mrs. Margaret Delane Blackwell, age 89, of Cohutta, Georgia passed away Monday, March 21, 2022. She was born on October 29, 1932. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Blackwell; parents, William and Maude Richmond; daughter, Joyce Dycus; brothers, Elbert Richmond, Clyde Richmond, Kenneth Richmond; sister, Audrey Gordy; grandchild, Dianne She is survived by her sons, Donald Blackwell, Allen and Antonia Blackwell, Mark and Denise Blackwell, Anthony Blackwell; daughter, Lisa and David Arb; brothers, Freddie and Winona Richmond, Cecil and Jane Richmond; sisters, Annie and Ralph Muse, Judy Padgett; brother in-law, Larry Dycus; sister in-laws, Jewel Richmond, Barbra Richmond; grandchildren, Bryan, Matthew, Denise, Justin, Ashley, Michael, Craig, Jason, Corey, Garrett, Emily, Pamela and seventeen great grandchildren. A service to celebrate the life of Margaret Delane Blackwell will be held in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 3:00 PM with Tommy Bryant officiating. Interment will be at Boyd Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 - 3:00 PM Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home.
