Maria Consuelo Mejia, age 67, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, August 5, 2016. She was born on November 30, 1949 in Michoacan, Mexico. She is survived by her son, Salvador Razo of Alabama; daughters, Teresa Marmolejo of California, Margarita Razo of Mexico, and Beatriz Miranda of Dalton. Several brothers, sisters, and grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Maria Consuelo Mejia will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment will be at Center Valley Cemetery in Chatsworth. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 2-9 PM Monday evening.
