It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Rosario Oceguera-Lopez, a
cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us peacefully at her residence on March
9, 2026. Born on April 10, 1927, in Jalisco, Mexico, Maria lived a life dedicated to her family and
community, contributing richly to the lives of those around her.
Maria embraced her role as a housewife with unwavering commitment and love. She was a
loving mother, enriching the lives of her children with kindness and warmth. Her devotion did
not stop there; her love extended to her grandchildren, who were the lights of her life. Maria's
nurturing spirit and her ability to bring joy to every moment spent with family will forever be
imprinted in the hearts of those who knew her.
Throughout her life, Maria's home was a place of love, laughter, and family gatherings. She had
a wonderful ability to make everyone feel special and welcomed. Her passion for caring for
those around her brought comfort and happiness, creating an environment that truly felt like
home.
Maria is survived by her beloved family, including Juan Sandoval, Jorge Sandoval, Javier
Sandoval, Jesus Sandoval, Rosario Sandoval, Yolanda Sandoval, Guadalupe Sandoval, Gricelda
Sandoval, 38 grandchildren, 77 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. also
survive. Each of them carries forward her legacy of love and devotion.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jesus Sandoval, and dear sons, Luis
Sandoval and Arnulfo Sandoval, who were undoubtedly waiting to greet her with open arms.
A visitation in memory of Maria will be held on March 11, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at
Dalton Funeral Home, located at 620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA. Following the visitation, a
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St Joseph's Catholic Church, starting at 1:00 PM, at
968 Haig Ml Lk Rd, Dalton, GA. Friends and family are welcome to come together to celebrate
Maria’s remarkable life and the loving nature she left on all of us.
Maria Rosario Oceguera-Lopez will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to live on
through the love she fostered in her family and the countless memories that will be cherished
forever.

Es con profunda tristeza que anunciamos el fallecimiento de María Rosario Oceguera-López,
una querida madre, abuela y amiga, que nos dejó pacíficamente en su residencia el 9 de marzo
de 2026. Nacida el 10 de Abril de 1927 en Jalisco, México, María vivió una vida dedicada a su
familia y comunidad, contribuyendo enormemente a la vida de quienes la rodeaban.
María abrazó su papel de ama de casa con un compromiso y amor inquebrantables. Era una
madre cariñosa, que enriquecía la vida de sus hijos con amabilidad y calidez. Su devoción no
terminó ahí; Su amor se extendió a sus nietos, que fueron las luces de su vida. El espíritu
protector de María y su capacidad para aportar alegría a cada momento pasado con la familia
quedarán para siempre grabados en el corazón de quienes la conocieron.
A lo largo de su vida, la casa de María fue un lugar de amor, risas y reuniones familiares. Tenía

Sandoval, Jesús Sandoval, Rosario Sandoval, Yolanda Sandoval, Guadalupe Sandoval, Gricelda
Sandoval también sobreviven 38 nietos, 77 bisnietos, y 9 tataranietos. Cada uno de ellos
continúa su legado de amor y devoción.
La precedieron en la muerte su querido esposo, Jesus Sandoval, y sus hijos queridos, Luis
Sandoval y Arnulfo Sandoval, que sin duda la esperaban con los brazos abiertos.
La velorio en memoria de María se celebrará el 11 de Marzo de 2026, de 10:30 a 12:30 en la
funeraria Dalton, situada en 620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA. Tras la visita, se celebrará una
misa de funeral cristiano en la iglesia católica de San José, a partir de la 1:00 PM, en 968 Haig
Ml Lk Rd, Dalton, GA. Amigos y familiares son bienvenidos a reunirse para celebrar la vida
