Marie Karoline Dollar, age 89, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018. She was born on August 29, 1928.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Knud Oskar Nissen and Marense Bronson; husband, James Dollar; son, Jessie Dollar; great grandson, Andrew James Dollar. She is survived by her sons, David Joe Dollar of Dalton, Niels Christian Brorson Severin of Denmark, Alex Peter Dollar of Denmark; daughter, Lone Marence Pilgaard of Denmark; granddaughter, Annette Pilgaard, Christina Pilgaard, Tiffany Dollar, Destini Dollar, Kenzi Dollar, Isabella Omari, Kira Randrup Pilgaard, Chelsa Dollar; great granddaughter, Copelynn Dollar; grandsons, James Dollar and Justin Dollar; special friends, Terry and Judy Leverette of Dalton. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Marie Karoline Dollar will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Brother Ross Jordan officiating. Gary Sheets, David Sheets, Blake Duarte, Thomas Turner, Terry Leverette and Paul Summey will be serving as pallbearers. Interment will be at Bethel Methodist Cemetery.
