Martha Tarpley, age 82, of Crandall, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017. She was born on January 20, 1935. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Tarpley; son, Jerry Tarpley; and her parents, Willis and Bernice Freeman. She is survived by her brother and sister in law, Billy and Brenda Freeman of Crandall; sister, Jimmie McBride of Atlanta; nieces, Melissa Poe of Dalton, Lisa Hale of Atlanta, and Iris Love of Atlanta. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Martha Tarpley will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, November 3, 2017 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Summerour Cemetery.
