Martha Ellen Welch born March 13, 1938 went to be with the lord on January 25, 2024, 85 years old. She was of Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband Arnold Welch of 54 years of marriage; nine sisters and three brothers. Her survivors include daughters and son in-laws, Betty and Jerry Kincaid, Tammy and Jeff Harris; brother, Moulya Sexton all of Dalton, Ga.; granddaughter and husband, Brittany and Skylar Brown; great grandson, Axel Brown of Dalton, Ga.; step-grandchildren, Kateland and Logan of Dalton, Ga.; several nieces and nephews also survive. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ms. Martha Ellen Welch will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor David Owens officiating. Interment will be at Colonial Hills Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
