Martin Dean Whitaker, age 51, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, May 26, 2017. He was born on February 15, 1966. He was preceded in death by his father, David Whitaker He is survived by his mother, Mildred Whitaker of Dalton; daughter, Megan Whitaker of Resaca; brothers, Jimmy Whitaker of Chatsworth and Noah (Phyllis) Whitaker of Chatsworth; sister, Karen (Roland) Freeman of Calhoun, GA. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Martin Dean Whitaker will be held at 1:00 PM, May 31, 2017 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11am until the time of service on Wednesday, May 31, 2017.
