Marvin Sewell Clayton, age 74, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023. He was born June 5, 1949. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Marion and Catherine Elizabeth "Wells" Clayton; sister, Lucky Pippin. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Clayton; daughter, Loretta Clayton; grandchild, Michael Travis; nieces, Cindy Stanley, Lynn Raulston, Veronica Stanley, Heather Douthitt, Christy Moore; nephew, Paul Stanley; great nephews, Justin Raulston, Julio Vargas, Cole Moore; great niece, Summer Moore; great-great niece, Autumn West; great-great nephew, Dawson Moore. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Marvin Sewell Clayton will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Chris E.
