Mary B. Hatfield, age 66, of Fort Payne, Alabama passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018. She was born on January 20, 1952. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Hatfield; parents, Clifford and Gladdis Lane. She is survived by her sons and daughter in law, Jerry and Jennifer Hatfield of Fort Payne, Sammy Hatfield of Kentucky; daughters and sons in law, Sandra and Terry Nicholson of Dalton, Brittany and Jeremiah Hicks of Tennessee; brothers and sisters in law, Jim and Brenda Lane of Kentucky, David and Sue Lane of Tennessee; sisters, Joyce Johnson of South Carolina, Ethel Malone of Kentucky; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mary Hatfield will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Ronald Guffey officiating. Interment will be at Sugar Valley Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Wednesday evening.
