Mary Beth Holcomb, age 62, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017. She was born on February 3, 1955. She was preceded in death by her parents, John William Hughes and Willie Inez Turner Hughes; brothers, Johnny Hughes and Bob Hughes; sisters, Betty Hughes, Cathy Holmes, Villa Mae Waters and Viola Trammell. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Holcomb of Rocky Face; son and daughter in law, Robert and Tonya Grizzell, Jr. of Rocky Face; daughters and sons in law, Goldie and Alfred Alexander of Rock Spring, GA, Melissa and Mitchell Crawford of Chickamauga, GA, Step daughters and sons in law, Danielle and Dominick Phipps of Clarksville, TN, Christina and David Hooper of Rossville, GA; brothers and sisters in law, Will Hughes of Calhoun, James and Jo Hughes of Cedar Bluff, AL, Raymond and Wanda Hughes of Dalton, Ronnie and Kathy Hughes of Villanow; sisters and brothers in law, Tammy and Terry Jones of Cisco, GA, Darlene and Leonard Grizzell of Summerville, GA, Nancy and George Brewer of Rocky Face, Patsy and Bobby Ashe of Chatsworth; sister in law, Gail Tidwell of Rocky Face; grandson, Dylan Crawford; step grandchildren, Jaden Phipps, Tristen Phipps, Michael Seay and Elizabeth Seay. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mary Beth Holcomb will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 12, 2017 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Robertson officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM on Thursday evening.
