Mary Lou Kyle, age 92, of Cohutta, Georgia passed away Monday, July 27, 2015. She was born January 28, 1923. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Lee Kyle; parents, Charles Tillman Martin and Radie Martin; sons, Harold Kyle, James Alvin Kyle; brother, (CT) Charles Tillman Martin, JR; sisters, Alwane Flowers and Kathleen Starks. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Ronald and Wanda Kyle of Dalton, GA, Ernest Neal and Sheila Kyle of Crossville, TN; daughters and son in law, Mary "Joan" Sawyer of Varnell, GA, Connie and Harold Akins of Cohutta, GA; sister, Mildred Wheat of Rome, GA; 19 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and 14 great great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mary Lou Kyle will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 31, 2015 at Varnell Baptist Church with Pastor Bret Bellamy and her grandson Ronnie Kyle officiating. Interment will follow at Colonial Hills Memorial Gardens. Steven Akins, Daniel Kyle, Ricky Kyle, Dakota Cooper, Robert Lawrence and Tim Kyle will be serving as pallbearers. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home. She will lay in state from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the church on Friday.
