Mary A. Lloyd, age 84, of Ringgold, GA passed away on Friday, March21, 2025. She was born May 1, 1940. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Harvey Litton MD and Patricia Cox Litton, brother Bill Litton. Mary is survived by her son, William Bradford Adkins and Becky; daughters Sonya Blake and husband Rocky, Patricia Young and husband Harvey/ brother Paul Dempsey and wife Kerry, sisters, Lorretta Rice and husband Ron, Foley Anne Litton, Grandchildren, Tanner Blake, Erin Ashby and great grandchildren Ian Ray Boydstun, Ava Boydstun and Gavyn Boydstun; nieces and nephews. Mary was loved deeply by all her children, cousins, family and friends. She cherished her time spent in India and Peru and her visits to Machu Picchu and the Amazon. She loved her family with the most unconditional love a mother could possibly have. She enjoyed visiting her aunts, uncles and gazillion cousins, and was thankful for the love and support from her brother and sisters. Mary had a BSN degree in nursing and serving her patience was her passion. She loved to dance, play piano, write poems, travel and loved her various pets. As we could go on and on about our mother, she taught us kids to be independent, to love each other and help others, she taught us about life, religion, politics, patience and understanding and most of all she taught us to be forgiving and loving.
