Mary "Lou" Martin, age 66, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Monday, September 14, 2015. She was born November 22, 1948. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lee Martin; parents, Sapp and Frances Evans; sisters, Joanne E. Sneed and Nellie Ruth Duckworth. Mary "Lou" is survived by her daughter and son in law, Natasha and James L. Poteet, Jr. of Dalton. Grandchildren, Taylor Evans Martin Poteet, Hailey Renae Poteet. Sisters, Edna J. Brewer of Calhoun, Ruthell Bryson of Tunnel Hill, Jeannie Habermehl of Dalton, Barbara Charter of Dalton, Peggy Dyer of Dalton. Nieces and Nephews, Michael Sneed, Donnie Sneed, Paul E. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mary "Lou" Martin will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Brother Pratt Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 PM – 9:00 Pm on Wednesday evening.
