Mary Jewel Richmond, age 92, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022. She was born on February 27, 1930. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Wallace Richmond; parents, Andrew Lee and Lizzie "Stephens" Muse; son, Travis Lee Richmond; brother, Johnny Mark Muse; sister, Doris Muse Jackson. She is survived by her son, Harold David and Anne Richmond of Dalton; daughter, Rita Clydette Jones of Chatsworth; brother, Ralph and Ann Muse of Resaca; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mary Jewel Richmond will be held in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Billy Parker and Rev. David Mathis officiating. Interment will be at Sugar Valley Baptist Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 - 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home.
