Mary Ridley, age 76, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017. She was born on May 29, 1940. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Margaret Sinnamon; son, Gary Cross; daughter, Rebecca Buffington; brothers, Daniel Sinnamon and David Michael Harrison; and a sister, Ruby Lee Stroup. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Jeff and Mae Cross of Los Vegas, NV, Ronnie and Kasey Cross of Dalton; daughter, Shirley Cross of Dalton, Vickie and Steve Parks of Dalton; brother and sister in law, William and Geneva Sinnamon of Calhoun; a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mary Ridley will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Parks officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM on Friday evening.
