Mary Joan Sawyer, age 68, of Cohutta, Georgia passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016. She was born on August 20, 1948. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Mary Kyle; brothers, James Alvin Kyle, Harold Kyle. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Melissa and Ray Cooper of Dalton; brothers and sisters in law, Ronald and Wanda Kyle of Dalton, Neal and Sheila Kyle of Crossville, TN; sister and brother in law, Connie and Harold Akins of Cohutta; 3 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. The family will have a memorial service to celebrate the life of Mary Joan Sawyer at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Hurricane Church of God with Rev.
