Melissa Cheri Parris, 49, of Dalton, GA passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. She was born on September 10, 1972. She was preceded in death by her sister, Melody Eddy. Melissa is survived by her father, Ray Eddy of Lincoln, TN; mother, Brenda Ball of Rocky Face; Step Father, Roy Ball of Rocky Face; husband, Tony Parris of Dalton; sons, Tony Lee Parris of Dalton, Andrew Josh Parrish of Dalton, and Matthew Clark of Dalton; sisters, Charlotte Meshell (Anthony) Manis of Rocky Face, Monica Dozier, Jenny Hollis, and Brittany Broyles of Tony, AL; grandchildren, Skyler LeAnn Parris and Bailee Mae Mixon, several nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate the life of Melissa Parris will be held at 5:30 PM Friday, September 10, 2021, at Westside Baptist Church. Pastor Rick Edwards will be officiating.
