Michael Brackett, age 45, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020. He was born on November 22, 1974. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn and Irene Cloer, and Pete and Mandy Floyd. He is survived by his father, Jesse Brackett of Dalton; mother and stepfather, Mildred Ling and Rickey Storey of Dalton; daughters and son in law, Katie and Tanyon Brown of Dalton, Paige Brackett of Dalton; the mother of his children, Julie Brackett of Dalton; sisters, Allecia Phillips of Dalton, Tab Lands of Dalton; granddaughter, Maggie Mae Brown; special friend, Mindy Jones; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; work family and neighborhood friends. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Michael Brackett will be held at 5:00 PM Friday, May 15, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Brinkley officiating.
