Michael Long, age 58, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021. He was born on March 16, 1963. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Linda "Dunn" Long; and brothers, Stacey and Ricky Long. He is survived by his wife, Elena Long of Dalton; son, Jason Long of Dalton; brothers, Timmy Long of Lafayette and Ronnie Long of Dalton. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Michael Long will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Bro. Gary McPherson will be officiating. Interment will be at United Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Dalton Funeral Home.
