Mrs. Mildred Gallman, age 92, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. She was born on October 14, 1929. She is preceded in death by her parents, WD Johnston and Mary "Bearden" Johnston; husband, Archie L. Gallman; and son, Chris Gallman. Mildred graduated from Dalton High School in 1946. She was a lifetime member of Dalton First United Methodist Church and was a member of Lenna Jude Club, Lions Aux (it was her idea to sell pecans), African Violet Club, and Grey Lady Hamilton for 30+ years. Mildred enjoyed gardening and bird watching. She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Gallman and her husband, Wade Lewallen of Dalton; daughter, Vickie Robertson and her husband, Anthony Robertson; grandson, Lee and wife, Kelly Johnson of Acworth, GA; grandson, Wesley and wife, Katrisha of Dalton; grandson, Winston Lewallen; granddaughter, Willow Lewallen; great grandsons, Hunter and Dash Johnson. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mildred Gallman will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Dalton First United Methodist Church with Pastor Tommy Willingham officiating. Interment will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00-1:00 PM on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Dalton First United Methodist Church.
