Mildred Katherine McDaris, age 87, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away Monday, December 7, 2020. She was born on May 16, 1933. Mildred attended GracePointe tunnel Hill Church of God of Prophecy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Clyde McDaris; parents, Leon and Emma Presley; brothers, Henry Presley, John Presley; and grandchild, Trista Faye McDaris. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Clay Earl and Lisa McDaris of Rocky Face, Jim and Rita McDaris of Dalton; daughters and sons in law, Audra and Tom Duffy of Dalton, Tammie and Craig Delaney of Ringgold; brother, Leon Presley of Braselton; sisters, Margaret Woodall of Gainesville, Jetty Mincey of Canton, Peggy Allen of Hoschton; grandchildren, Cheyenne Chamlee, AJA Gibson, Dylan Duffy, Jayme Duffy, Nathan McDaris, Matthew McDaris, Derek Delaney, Candace Delaney, Marisa Songer, and Sylvia McDaris. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mildred Katherine McDaris will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, December 11, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Chandler officiating. Interment will be at Dunagan Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.
