Mildred Parker, age 88, of Dalton, GA. passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023. She was born on October 29, 1934. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Parker; parents, William and Ethel "Boyd" Blackwell; brothers, JC Blackwell, Buck Blackwell, Edward Blackwell, Sammy Blackwell, Lamar Blackwell; sisters, Susie Cooper, Mary Lankford, Lela Stanely. She is survived by her sons, Winfred Danny Parker, Timothy Lee Parker; daughters, Deborah Towns, Sharon, Parker, Karen Trippy; brother, Doyle Blackwell; sister, Doris Brown; grandchildren, Brandy Easley and husband Scott, Scott Parker and wife Amy, Jason Whitener, Jonathon Whitener and wife Brandi, Tiffany Blodgett and husband Matt, Chris Trippy" Les Blackwell"; fourteen great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mildred Parker will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 7, 2023 at South Dalton Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Edwards and Pastor Jerry Atkins officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at South Dalton Baptist Church.
