Milton Edward Rainey, age 75, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023. He was born on May 8, 1947. He pastored the Underwood/Tunnel Hill Church of God of Prophecy. He had a Shepherd's heart. He is proceeded in death by his father, Richard Cecil Rainey; mother, Ruby "Ogles" Rainey; brothers, Junior Rainey, Elmer Rainey and Harold Rainey; sisters Juanita Rainey, Shirley Randolph, Virgie Baggett, and Bessie Morgan. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Rainey; sons, Scott Rainey (Loraine), Roger Rainey (Christie), Justin Rainey (Jennifer), Cameron Rainey, Brandon Cole, Justin Cole (Breanna); daughters, Sabrina Shepard, Samantha Ward, Breana Allen (Andrew), Bella Rainey; sisters, Martha Bolding and Dimple Moorehead; fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Family will be receiving friends for visitation Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A service will be held in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home Monday, February 13, 2023 at 12:00 PM.
