Minnie Ruth Hix, age 96, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020. She was born on January 26, 1924. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Hix; son, Wayne Hix; daughter, Marie Holloway Evans; grandchildren, David Holloway, and Jeremy Hix; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Lawler; and brothers and sisters. She is survived by her grandchildren, Lisa and Clint Dover, Audrey and Scott Gallman, Stacey Hix, Justin Hix; great grandchildren, Josh and Sherika Dover, Drew and Jade Dover, Brooke Gallman, Seth Gallman; great great grandchildren, William Dover, Scarlet Dover, Jase Dover, and Bodhi Dover; son in law, Mike Evans; and her daughter in law, Diane Hix. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Minnie Ruth Hix will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Alan Gibson officiating. Interment will be at New Hope/Kilgore Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.
