Mrs. Minnie R. Massingill, age 95, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026. She was born on May 11, 1931. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Massingill; parents, James F. Atkins and Rosa Atkins; and sister, Francis Griffin.

Minnie retired after many years in the carpet mill industry. She liked a good book and going to the beauty shop; most of all, she loved the lord, her family, and her church family.

She is survived by her sons, Chris Massingill (Tuyet) and Ricky Massingill (Cindy); daughter, Lisa Rogers (Steve); grandchildren, Justin Massingill, Lilly Massingill, Tanner Massingill, Danielle Ingle, Hunter Ingle (Bryn), Shanna Eaton (Matt); great-grandchildren, Clara, Onxy, Jett, and Kaisley.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Minnie R. Massingill will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 4:00 pm at the South Dalton Baptist Church, with brother Danny Edwards Officiating
