Mischelle Magdalana Kendrick, a cherished and loving mother and grandmother, passed away on April 15, 2026, at Hamilton Medical Center. Born on April 20, 1970, in Sunflower, Mississippi, Mischelle led a life marked by kindness, creativity, and devotion to her family and community.
Throughout her life, Mischelle was known for her affectionate nature and unwavering commitment to her loved ones. She found joy in arts and crafts, particularly in coloring, making blankets, and crocheting, activities that reflected her gentle spirit. She attended Life Song Church in Adairsville, she found comfort and strength in her faith, which played a meaningful role in her life.
Mischelle's legacy is carried forward by her children: Johnathan (Charity) Kendrick, and Katrina (Anthony) Akins, step-father, Wes Forester. She also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren, including Taylor Forrest, Braeylon Forrest, Brylee Forrest, Shayann Orizelti, Khloe Dutton, Ashlynn Kendrick, Shelby Kendrick, Hunter Kendrick, Bailee Akins, Aubrey Akins, Rylee Akins, and John-Luke Akins. Her great granddaughter, Hazely Cummings, is also among the treasured family who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Surviving siblings, include James Callahan, Richard Callahan, Edwina Fisher, Kenny Forester, and James Forester, who stand as loving family members in this time of loss.
Mischelle was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Carol Forester, and her son, Richard Forrest, whose memories remain deeply etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
A visitation will be held in her honor at Dalton Funeral Home, located at 620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, Georgia 30721, on April 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This will be followed by a celebration of life at the same location at 6:00 PM, where friends and family will gather to remember and celebrate the beautiful life Mischelle led.
