Monroe Lamar McManus, age 85, of Dalton, Ga. Passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. He was born on January 20, 1938. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Faye "Holtzclaw" McManus; daughter, Lynelle Baine. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara McManus; sons, Herbert McManus and wife Diane of Armuchee, Ga., Bryan McManus of Dalton; grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew, April; great grandchild, Trish. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Monroe Lamar McManus will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 28, 2023, in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Junior Clayton officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Dalton Funeral Home.
