On Tuesday, July 26, 2022, Mrs. Nancy Faye Elizabeth Watson (loving wife, mother, and grandmother) went home to be with the Lord at the age of 80. She was born Nancy Faye Elizabeth Pelfrey on September 7, 1941 in Rockwood, TN. Nancy married her husband, Winford Watson on March 14, 1959 and she had 5 children. Mrs. Watson served as a CNA for 12 years at Chatsworth Healthcare Facility. She loved crocheting and watching Family Feud. Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her parents, Dan Pelfrey and Rose Jones; husband, Winford Watson; sons, Anthony and Arthur Watson; son in law, Sammy Smith; brothers and sisters, Elijah, Danny, and Charlie Pelfrey, Lillie Pendleton, Betty Cottrell, and Louise Grigsby. She is survived by her daughters and son in law, Wanda and Robert Shipman, Lynn Smith, Nancy and Dennis Casson; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Nancy Faye Elizabeth Watson will be at 5:00 PM on Friday, July 29, 2022 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Timms officiating. Interment will be at Center Valley Cemetery in Chatsworth. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 - 5:00 PM Friday, July 29, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home.
