Nancy Jean "Nan" Drew age 75, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, surrounded by love and cherished memories. Nan was born April 2, 1950, in Dalton, Georgia, the daughter of the late William Floyd Hambright and Oma Jean Grooms Hambright, Nan was known for her creative spirit and warm heart. She found joy in painting and drawing, and her love for Halloween brought delight to those around her. A proud member of the Eastern Star, Nan lived a life full of compassion and connection. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Thomas Drew, and siblings Dennis, Trammell, Sara Josephine, Patsy Ann, Jeffery Lynn, and Gary Lee. Nan leaves behind her devoted sister, Linda Hair; nieces Patty Pullium, Panda Burton, Sandra Pritchett, and Kim Riggs; nephew, Chris Murray (Pam); great-nephews, Clayton Bishop (Jessica) and Andrew Pellom; great-nieces Kelcie Murray, Ryleigh Murray, and Mary Pellom; great-great-nieces Harper and Renlee Bishop; great-great-nephew Maverick Bishop; and many other loving nieces and nephews. She will also be deeply missed by her best friend, Evonne Phillips, and special friend, Jennifer Hayes. Nan's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew her, through the art she created and the love she gave so freely. A Celebration of Life will be held later.
