Glenn "Neil" Spann, age 77, of Eton, Georgia passed away Monday, February 22, 2016. He was born on April 8, 1938. Neil was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Spann; and his parents, Joseph Ellison Spann, SR, and Ethel Spann. He is survived by his daughters, Tonya Stuard of Eton, and Sherrie Kelso of Chatsworth; brother, Joe Spann, JR and his wife Tinzie of Dalton; grandchildren, Tyler Kelso, Ashley Stuard, Danielle Kelso, and Nick Stuard; the mother of his children, Elaine Spann Kelly; a niece and nephew also survive. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Glenn "Neil" Spann will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Brandon Chastain and Neil's brother Joe Spann officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Wednesday evening.
