Onie Eloise Pierce, age 89, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021. She was born on July 12, 1932. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ella Pierce; brothers, Gordon Pierce, Earnest Pierce, Frank Pierce, Virgil Pierce; sisters, Louise Dempsey, and Eula Vineyard. She is survived by her brothers, Arvil Pierce of Varnell, Melvin Pierce of Varnell; several nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Linda Dempsey. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12-2 PM on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 with a funeral service following at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Keeley Hasty officiating.
