Patty Darlene Bramblett, age 50, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014. She was born on April 23, 1963 in Dalton. She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Goforth; grandparents, (maternal) Robert Dewitt Smith and Wynelle Aaron Smith, (paternal) Lilly Mae Goforth and George Harrison Goforth. She is survived by her beloved friend and father of her daughter, Jeff Bramblett of Dalton; daughters, Rachel Goforth and her husband James Eaton of Calhoun, Kristin Danielle Bramblett of Dalton; Mother and Stepfather Linda and Johnny Edgeman of Plainville, Georgia; sisters and brothers in law, Angela Lynn and Ernie Cochran of Dalton, Dana and Tony Burse of Summerville, Dena and Marty Hampton of Summerville; grandson, Samuel Lee Biggs of Calhoun; special nephew, Joshua Dewitt Cochran; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Patty Darlene Bramblett will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 31, 2014 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Towe officiating. Dakota Massingill, Alex Massingill, James Eaton, and Joshua Cochran will be serving as pall bearers, Tommy Massingill will be serving as an honorary pall bearer. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 9:00 PM on Thursday evening. Interment will be at Chandler Cemetery.
