Paul Thomas Cranmore, Sr, age 83, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away Monday, February 18, 2019. He was born on March 23, 1935. Paul was retired from Chem Tech, Cabin Craft, and Atlas Carpet of California. He attended North Whitfield Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wives, Grace Brookshire Cranmore, Mary Penny Cranmore, and Evelyn Bunch Cranmore; father, J.T. Cranmore; mother, Mary Edith Caylor Cranmore; brothers, Joe R. Cranmore, a veteran of WWII, and John R. Cranmore; sisters, Carrie Cranmore Colbough, Tommie Ruth Cranmore Sanford, Margaret Cranmore Ralston, and Linda Faye Cranmore. He is survived by his sons and daughter in law, Paul Cranmore, Jr and his wife Sandra of Hixson, TN, Steven Cranmore of MD, and Jerry Cranmore of Tunnel Hill; daughter, Marilyn Cranmore Hice of Tunnel Hill; sisters, Madge (Mickie) Granger of FL, Mary Sue Green, and Bertha Bishop; several nieces and nephews; a very special friend, Barbara McKee; long time pastor and friend, Brother Lillard Stringer; long time friend as well as business partner, Don M. Mitchell, Sr of Murrieta, Ca. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 4-5 PM at North Whitfield Missionary Baptist Church (3825 Chattanooga Rd. Tunnel Hill, GA). A funeral service to celebrate the life of Paul Thomas Cranmore, Sr will be held after visitation at 5:00 PM, Friday, February 22, 2019 with Pastor James Sanders officiating. Interment will be at Anderson Memorial Gardens. Bobby Arnold, Glenn Cantrell, Cody Cantrell, Ronald Haynes, Earl Roberts, Marty Bell, Ryan Jones, and Timmy Roberson will be serving as pallbearers.
