Paul Mitchell Stanley, age 86, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020. He was born on December 15, 1933. Paul was a member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Long Stanley; sisters, Birtie Stanley, Lou Greeson, Edith Parker, Maudie Favors; brother, Richard Stanley; and a granddaughter, Heather Stanley. He is survived by his sons, Mitch Stanley (Judy Kirk) of Lafayette, Kent Stanley (Angela) of Dalton, David Stanley of Lafayette, Brent Stanley of Dalton; grandchildren, Brandon Stanley, Kaitlyn Stanley, Kent Stanley, Jr, Khristian House, and Misty Stanley. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Paul Mitchell Stanley will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery.
